Have your child roll himself/herself into a ball. This is the egg.
Tap your child on the shoulder, and then the child can pretend to slowly hatch out of the egg and move like a baby turtle. If more than one child is playing, the newly hatched turtle can tap the shoulder of the next child so that he/she can hatch.
Designate one area of the room as the sea.
When all the babies have hatched, they should all rush together to get to the safety of the sea.
